It was a good question and really interesting response for various reasons. As DDB states we had announced Baah signing a Professional deal. Also surprised me to hear Delves say we’d do the same again- pretty sure all tribunals (regardless of fee received) give us 15%(?) of their next sale, which I could’ve been a decent amount. |  | | |

He did sign a professional contract but it seems it was only till the end of 21/22 season (which is crazy really with a player that young and potential).
I think he just got a bit mixed up telling the facts at the forum - he sould have said he was out of contract rather than he never signed one. That six figure fee probably allowed us to crawl over the line to give us enough time to seal the Ogden deal.

I'm sure it was said that if Baah signs for a club and goes abroad, we are entitled to reimbursement of the training costs incurred whilst he was here. He is of course a German youth international.
GD did say that there were a few options open to Dale but it was complicated and pointless explaining it to the fans, unless it was going to happen, which currently it's not. |  |
