Are Swansea treading water ? 12:43 - Aug 10 with 1680 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Early indications are not good. The new players have not done enough in training to walk into a dull squad above the like Fulton and Cullen. Exciting young talents like Parker Lissah and Wilson do not get a kick. All these managers recently always have an excuse from Cooper to Sheehan. "I need a striker". Why sell Yates then? Id f the club plays safety first dull football with average Joe's why not add Parker and Wilson and we can enjoy another mid table season but all r least see some development. Cabango,Ollie Cooper and Cullen are in their mid twenties.

Are Swansea treading water ? on 12:54 - Aug 10 with 1627 views | TheAlpineShrew | One thing that I noticed in last weeks friendly emphasising a different attitude between us and LOrient was, when our bench went out to warm up, they went on their own or in little groups and did some jogging and stretching. When the LOrient players went out to warm up, they went out all together, with a coach who then pout them thriugh a full warm session with organised drills. Why don't we do that? I notice the same with many teqams last season who wouold do a litlle cone excercise before coming back lon for the 2nd half when we just walked on and stood about.

That we have VIP here rather than Zystrs shows how bad Yates must be That said, somebody bought him

I fear another recruitment mess up. Swansea keeps buying players the manager does not want and employing managers that do not like the players they buy. I remind you of Laudrup. Chico De Guzman Michu alm hit the ground like an explosion. Yesterday? Modric may as well come in right now as manager of Milan decide his legs have gone.

3,000 Wrexham supporters yesterday singing it loud and proud. It seems it's a Welsh thing and not confined to Swansea locals.

Yes the ethnic slurs are against Welsh people. ALL Welsh people. The 5% who go to football engage. The rest of the population look on with embarrassment. The 0.00001% like me compare it to the black player baiting seen in the 1980s. Our Dads and Uncles thought it was hilarious. The banana thing. I do not make the law but the Pakistani guy who abused Welsh woman on an aeroplane was done for "racially aggravated abuse" for these slurs. This is the problem 3000 Wrexham fans do not get it closeup and personal like the young lady. Gerwyn gets it and so did Raheem Stirling in Hungary. At individual level is is deeply unpleasant. One wretched poster on here even suggested the Air Stewardess was at fault because the Pakistani knew which hotel they were staying in. Shameful coward. It turns out he was an executive of a firm in recruitment for airline staff. Surely 3000 wrexham fans cannot be wrong?. How can 1000 Swansea Trust members be so useless with 1000 brains working in harmony? Obviously i need to go away and rethink. ............ Ok I have reappraised myself and I was right all along. The Wrexham fans were singing ethnic slurs against them selve simply to give English fans a bit of a giggle. The air stewardess was not giggling. Neither was the grandma out shopping in Central Cardiff in the face of 300 Bristol city sub normal Bristolians throwing cans around the place. More fans you have the stupider they get.

Treading water is mostly using the legs, just ask water polo players, but if we don't get a striker or move the ball forward quicker we will be floundering

I played water polo on holiday a couple of months back Treading water IS mainly leg movement but it's harder without using arms Water polo is exhausting and pretty rough to play especially against Russians It got nasty at the Melbourne Olympics when Hungary played them after the tanks rolled onto Budapest
