Coventry roll call on 13:18 - Aug 22 by wombat | are the , undergound trains not running this weekend ? sorry generally no idea as drive to games |
Public transport in London I.e. the underground is fine. Having a stadium on the outskirts of a city with one train per hour to and from the centre very much isn’t.

Coventry roll call on 13:11 - Aug 22 by stowmarketrange | If you come off the M6 at junction 3,turn 1st left,Picard’s way. Then left at the next roundabout which takes you back under the M6.Turn right at the lights and down there for about 1/2 mile and there is free street parking there. You can walk to the ground along the canal in about 15-20 minutes.Follow the same route back and you’ll be on the motorway before some others have left the stadium car parks. |
Cheers mate. Much appreciated
Coventry roll call on 15:03 - Aug 22 with 1530 views | Dono77 | 1847 confirmed sold by club. Def thought we would take more. Are supporters already concerned by whats happening, people are away as its bank Holiday weekend or are we just expecting a beating and people cant be arsed watching us roll over?? I thought we would sell 2k really quickly seeing as its a 3pm ko plus its not that far away etc.

Coventry roll call on 12:36 - Aug 22 by Walnut | Anyone ever used / tried to use the Coventry Arena station pre / post match? Not that I am tomorrow but wondered if it's ever been of use match day? |
I am using it tomorrow before the game and possibly after depending how it feels. (See also Clive’s Away Day from last season!)

Coventry roll call on 08:12 - Aug 22 by ParkStreetRanger | I went to Coventry away in 1978 (one of my earlier away games) and there must have only been about 300 fellow R's there. We lost 1 - 0. |

That was on MOTD that night, we lost 1 0 but missed 2 or 3 one on ones! Anyone recall larger followings to Coventry in the 70s? 7374 FAC5? 7576 maybe. My first trip was on the special, 8384, we were going well under TV but lost 1 0. 500 to 750 Rs I reckon
Coventry roll call on 16:53 - Aug 22 with 1178 views | CroydonCaptJack | I remember one trip in the 80s and we bust a gut trying to get parked up as we were late due to traffic. It was pi$$ing it down and we just heard on the radio we had gone one down early on. When we got to the turnstile the bloke said 'sorry lads this area is uncovered' We swore and said 'and we are one nil down' he shook his head and said 'it's two' There were no more goals that day. Great trip!

"It's two". Wonderful bleakness.
Coventry roll call on 18:07 - Aug 22 with 1061 views | Sharpediver | I've never been to the new Cov ground but went to Highfield Road twice. First time was the 96 Eoin Jess game. Despite the result had a great day out got totally ratarsed with some Cov fans I met in the pub after the game and only just made the last train out of there to Euston . Also last time we played there- early 2005. Took my missus and young nipper who was about 5/6 then. Remarkable George Santos goal to win it in the last minute. Going to see Slough v Ebbsfleet tomorrow but will be keeping close eye on the score. Few of us R's down at Slough too. Would take a goalless draw now in both games. Ambitious or what? Please allow me to Introduce you to the largest toilet In the world, yes It's the away end at Swindon, Swindon rains whenever we turn up there for a game which Is nice as you can stand there looking up at the heavens whilst getting rained on and occasionally watching our goalkeeper collect the ball from the back of his net. There used to be a poster on here ''Dai-hoop'' who we arranged to meet up with before kick off outside the Swindon away end turnstiles one bleak and wet Wednesday evening, he never turned up, he got In touch a couple of days later to explain he got arrested outside the ground at 6.30pm ish, the Police let him go back to Cardiff after the final whistle. Yes we lost.

It is called 'Stratton Bank' (or, it was) Anyone remember huddling there in pouring rain for a League Cup win (yes) many years ago?
