Holding out for large transfer income is all very well but it may well backfire.
Should have taken the 40 odd million for Dibling and used it to strengthen the team.
The defence is not impressive and the forward line looks weak and if we sell Fernandes we weaken the midfield.

We spent badly 2 years ago (Stewart and Charles ) but loaned well.
As for that last sentence how do you work that out.SR transfer business has been propped by selling assets already at the club . E.g Tino and Jwp. Lavia is there one success at buying low and selling high. Fernadez will be there 2nd should they sell. |  |

Teams are always weaker in terms of personel after relegation, with the better ones sold to balance the financial impact. On the plus side we are playing weaker teams in the Championship. After two relagations our team is significantly weaker than the one that was competitive in the Premier League some years ago. We will have to build again I guess. | | | |
