I know we’re all fans, but I really feel sorry for the diehards who follow this team away from home. This club doesn’t deserve their support.
I’m getting grief from family and friends on social media taking the píss. I’m too embarrassed to reply to them. This feels much worse than the 7-1 battering from West Brom a few years back.
We stayed a lot longer than they deserved . Left at 7 down . You can only put up with that shit for so long. . Everything they touched turned to gold. Morrison , Cook were shocking and as for that lazy cross ball from Morgan . Christ.. In fairness nobody comes out with any credit whatsoever. Norf was right . At least look organised and fit . We were neither.
Had a lovely afternoon on Ramsgate beach with my daughter and grandkids.. and never had my phone out once...
Before I even got to the thread had texts from my brother and his boys timed at 16.20... saying they were in the car on their way home ... left at 7!!!
Then saw the texts from Palace, Aresenal... and even the Gillingham lads from work... looks like the come back is on!!!

The fans who went today though should be reimbursed by the club.

Another who left when the 7th hit the back of the net. Positive was easy access to taxi back to The Old Windmill Pub we had been in pre game. Expected to lose but the manner was rather too easy. Having conceded early than Kieran’s pass to their forward we feared the worst and the team made sure we were right. As disorganised and unbalanced a team as any I have seen in my time. We know there are some good players there but until they resolve the midfield issues there is no chance of that showing. Didn’t get angry, too long in the tooth for that, just resigned to another long season and hope somehow they get it right
Left on 87 mins thinking I could at least get out the car park quickly and avoid the traffic. Unfortunately the car park was kept closed for bloody ages so would have been better off staying to the bitter end and at least seeing the goal.
Also surprising was when we left there were thousands of Cov fans already on their way home. If that was me I’d be there saluting the team until I got kicked out. But that souless stadium is absolutely in the middle of nowhere with terrible access so rather than their fans staying to milk it they start leaving with 10 mins to go. Pretty sad.
Highlight of the day was Burger King at Rugby Services

They were loud before the game, obviously during, they've got over 20k season ticket holders and were all pretty sound, it's a cracking ground holds the noise, its comfortable and you can see everything
