Celar shown the door on 23:47 - Aug 23 with 1931 views | connell10 | I got at least 18 down votes for saying he was basically shite in the Preston game , seems I was right he is shite and a total waste of money. I don't think the bloke was interested in playing for us.

Celar shown the door on 21:42 - Aug 23 by Northolt_Rs | Another Nourry success story. This 26-year old nobody will take our club down to League One. Our clueless absentee owners must sack him now before it’s too late. The man-child is an imbecile. |
Sorry mate ment up vote ya.

Celar shown the door on 23:10 - Aug 23 by Padulas_Shampoo | I’m not digging him. Just stating the fact he’s done naff all so far. How could you possibly point at him as an unquestioned ’good signing’ already? Yes I am blaming Nourry for Poku being injured. He’s employed, retained and promoted Williams who oversaw preseason from a fitness perspective. I also blame him for Dembele getting cramp in the first half today and Sam Field talking about them blowing after 45 mins. And yes, Kone has only been a striker in League One up to now. That’s literally irrefutable fact. We just got beat 7-1 and were lucky it weren’t more. How good can the recruitment possibly be? |
Just about everyone was pleased with the arrival of all three, and no one was, or is, saying we could or should realistically be recruiting better players. Apart from you, apparently, who think it's OK to judge them all (Kone played one half in a collectively abject performance and still scored) after 3 games. I agree with you, and have said so, that the Field comment is scary, and our fitness looks diabolical. [Post edited 24 Aug 17:05]

I'm not the one judging them - I've literally said none of them have done enough to warrant judgement. You're the one judging them by bringing them up and labelling them 'good signings'.
Celar shown the door on 18:12 - Aug 24 with 1302 views | LazyFan | Celar scored two goals against a defence that was relegated. There is a reason Cardiff went down. And that's all he did in his time here, well apart from being injured for half a season as well. He actually is a good finisher if ... if ... the team lays it on a plate for him. But that does not happen in the Champ unless you are a relegated Prem side already. In the Champ, most teams need a Number 9 hold-up player; QPR thought they had bought that and that he would also score with his finishing. They were wrong, he cannot trap a bag of cement. Also, all this "he does great runs" is no good either, as even if we did find him, he would not have the pace to accelerate away, unlike Burrell, who at least has the pace. Kone has already shown he can hold the ball up and lay it off, and now Kone has scored in only his second appearance for us from the bench, despite playing in what was arguably the worst QPR performance in many years! Poku looked decent pre-season, looked like he could cross and dribble, then slowed down and got injured. So, we shall see. Nardi played well all of last season and was an upgrade Asmir, he shuold be brought back. Mgbenue looks good, but is prone to rash challenges so, just okay overall. The most shameful issue was that we had 6 months to sort out the well-known issue of LB. The club knew this, as the loaned RB who filled in at LB (Ashby) went back at the end of the season and everyone knew Paal was off. Yet, literally nothing was done to sign a replacement until we started playing youth RB's at LB and then Esq at LB who is clearly not ready for the Champ. And Cov saw right through this and exploited it to the max. This new LB RNG better get going soon or the fire from the fans will only increase. Celar will score goals in much slower-paced leagues with less press and more time to let you play it around. But he will never make it beyond that, as he cannot hold the ball up. In one game, Kone already showed why he is a better player.

Celar shown the door on 18:27 - Aug 24 with 1222 views | QPunkR | Celar can go suck seventeen rucksacks full of lemons. An abysmal footballer. However, I'll only celebrate when it's confirmed we've conned some other club into taking him off our hands. And then the milkybars will be on me

Celar shown the door on 19:56 - Aug 24 with 908 views | Match82 | I'm not sure I get the personal vitriol being aimed at Celar. He's not been a success here but he's shown up consistently and he's shown flashes, just not enough. Doesn't make him a good signing, it clearly wasn't, but I just can't get mad with him personally when we look at some of the Cesars, Boswingas, Bartons of the world that were genuine tosspots. He's either not good enough or not the right fit for QPR right now and I won't be sad to see him go but I will wish him luck in his next stop.

I don't think many people have any animosity towards him just disappointed that he didn't deliver after we spent a good chunk of our transfer budget on him. Blame the scouting system is anything
