Southampton - night out..? 10:50 - Aug 27 with 1839 views | Chesham_Saint | I can’t make the skate match but have a couple of Saints supporting friends coming down for it. They’re in their late 20s -and staying the night before - any suggestions for best places for a night out in town? I need more than a “none” or “gunwharf” on this pls..

Southampton - night out..? on 11:07 - Aug 27 with 1799 views | solent_toffee | I’d be amazed if there’s anyone on this board who knows where the late twenty year olds go for a night out. Maybe ask their kids? Oxford Street or Bedford place would be the best bet though I reckon.
Southampton - night out..? on 11:08 - Aug 27 with 1797 views | SaintNick | Depends on what they are looking for. If they want Dj's and beer then Guildhall Square and vicinity including London Road & Bedford Place would be probably best. If they want something a little less raucous then Carlton Place has a plethora of bars and pubs these days as well as some more music type places. If they want to relive their student days then Bevois Valley Oxford Street has a lot of pubs but caters for the over 30 age group in the main The problem is Southampton is so spread out in terms of entertainment I would suggest that start at Guildhall square and work your way up to Carlton place, that will cover most of the bases about what they want.

Haha, to be fair I did a pub crawl with my brother and mates a few weeks ago and started at the guildhall square, finished on Oxford Street and had a belting night, went to about ten pubs, with a decent mix of ages. No clubs though and home before midnight, that’s the way to do it.
Southampton - night out..? on 20:51 - Sep 7 with 1250 views | Exmiltonroad | There's a multi venue music festival going on over the weekend, Music In The City. My band are actually playing on Sunday afternoon after the game if anybody wants a little distraction or carry on the celebrations. We'll be playing St Michael's Vault but there's plenty going on over the two days. Just check out Music In The City on your socials or the website.

Thursdays is good especially on a Wednesday night, and a few jars at scholars is always a great shout. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

You never know, they might even have a decent local band on upstairs.
