When I had Sky many moons ago I made the mistake of watching the transfer deadline day right upto the pox ridden thing ending late In the evening.
Nothing happened excepting for gonks In the studio getting excited about ''breaking news'' from another gonk freezing to death outside Notts County's ground informing the planet via his microphone that Martha Higginbottom was currently undergoing a medical prior to becoming Notts County's new Ironing Lady.
I had to escape the clutches of Sky and their vastly over acting presenters and my desire for QPR related news, and I did escape.
I don't subscribe to anything television related I do have a TV licence though as my renewal reminder was pretty close to being threatening and downright rude.
