Strange that they still appear to be here after weeks of "about to be going" rumours?

Think Aribo was on about 40k a week . 40% deduction relegation clause from his 70k prem salary.

Can't see many clubs willing to pay anywhere near 40k .

Yeah surprised Edozie didn't go as he's a decent player imo.
Think I heard the Belgium window is still open next week?

There is always the loan system for them, or perhaps some of the other leagues such as Turkey, where the window is still open.

You are quite right

It's 5th September for teams in Austria, Croatia and Ukraine

8th September for those in Belgium and Poland

9th September for sides in the Czech Republic, Romania and Switzerland.

The Saudi Pro League transfer window closes on 10th September.

Not many European Leagues left apart from Belgium that could afford either player, or for that matter, that they’d want to go to. I suppose the Saudi PL could come in for one or both if money is their primary motivation. Was reading that Josh Brownhill turned down a £100k p/w contract offer from Leicester City to potentially head out to the Saudi PL so God only knows what they are offering him!

Time yet for one or both to go if anyone really wants them…

I'm happy if Aribo stays to be honest as he is more than capable of doing well in this league as I believe he did well before and could even play as a striker. But hey ho, let's see....

If both Aribo & Edozie stay they are both capable at this level, the problem is that we have already bought in there replacements

Edozie hasnt been replaced as he wasnt part of the squad in the first place.

As for replacing Aribo, Bree and the Sugawara - who knows if we have strengthened with their replacement's. They would have all done a decent job in the championship. Feels like a wage trimming/ deck chair shifting operation.

The wage bill was massive, and did need addressing.

Both Aribo & Edozie are showing on the official site in the new strip as part of this seasons individual squad profiles , Aribo has a smile Edozie doesn't look happy.

yup saw that, quite funny. But I have to disagree that Aribo has been replaced, he can fight for his place which is great for competition. I don't think much of Sam at this level though as he couldn't cut it last time out whereas Aribo can.

Also I like that Aribo just gets on with the job and gives his all wherever he is played
