I’m quite glad Lammy has gone across. The deputy position is pretty powerless.

Yes until those gorgeous young Ukrainian boys who have been firebombing starmers properties start targeting him instead.

Also justice secretary is far from powerless.

Labour is the gift that keeps on giving. The only winner is Farage.

That’s so true.

If he’d done the same he’d get a standing ovation at the upcoming conference.

The cupboard is bare when it comes to new Labour talent, and in part the leadership seems to be turning to the old hands in desperation. Mandy was seen going into Labour HQ today.

Weather conditions would have more to do with that, rather than Cooper.

Mandy? Jesus, have they already gone through the bottom of the barrel? It's worse than I'd imagined if he comes back, and I'd imagined it to be really very bad.

14 years of the tories, if we have 14 years of Labour people may be paying for the tories. On the other hand, 5 years of Labour followed by Reform and we could be wishing for Maggie to return.

Wasn’t aware that there hadn’t been any crossings in the last 2 weeks. That may well be foen yo the weather, but equally you could argue the record number we’ve seen crossing during the summer is also down to the really good weather we’ve had. It cuts both ways.

Weather has been fine for the most part. Going to deteriorate though

Nice day Saturday and a 1000 + cross The Channel in a single day . not on small dinghes as stated but it now seems a vessel capable of holding up to a hundred in a single crossing .

Luckily our Border Force wait until they reach British water at the half way point of The Channel and give them a lift back to Dover .

Why are the RNLI involved in this mess , nothing to do with them either .
A real person of need of assistance will be overlooked as the lifeboat they badly need in time of peril is now being used as a floating taxi service .

Starmer has shuffled his pack of cards all containing The Joker and thrown a new name at the problem .

Shabanna Mamood it seems is the next Messiah , the jury is out but not holding my breath .

Double talk from our new Messiah saying she could stop visas from being issued to visitors to The UK from places who do not comply with deportation orders .

Maybe the wording could read We will stop said visas being given out from the Home Office

The lefties would go into meltdown and challenge that arguement right up to the Courts of the Human Rights , answer to that judgement on a postcard please .

I need ID to board a plane or go on a Weekend away security and baggage handling checks .
No issue with that and not a problem .

Somehow a lot of men arrive in Britain and simply walk into a welcoming enviroment with no legal documents , passsport or DBS checking .

They must think they have got to Utopia .
