Guys the brain is going for a Desmond 2-2 this weekend

Obviously that means we will obviously beat these Netflix Clowns 2-1

Lets wreck'em

i managed to see the game via a stream from the 15th min, we looked quick, sharp, worked hard, every player was involved and doing a good job, we took our goals well, hit the post late on as well, nardi made some good saves , kone scored a sir les special, burrell had frightening pace for his goal and it was coolly taken , 1st scramble or not it was coming.
great support and we have begun our season now, the mess and chaos of coventry not forgotten but learnt from?
we won away, in europe? beat the dragon and leave with renewed vigour and confidence. goals win games, we have 6 in 2 now.
kone 3 in 3 .

What a great win.

Too open at times and we looked our most vulnerable from our own corners (not for the first time this season either), but the threat that front two possessed was evident in how deep Wrexham dropped. The more direct approach was evident and very, very welcome. Play your football in their half; protect your goal in your half.

Their money seems to have been spent on defensive players aside from Moore and they really have to improve on that because they looked poor defensively and wasteful up front. On that showing they look bang in trouble although I am sure they will improve.

All that said, we still managed to gift them a way back in. Yet again, the start to the second half warrants questions. JS acknowledged that in his post match comments, but there is no way they should have been allowed to get back. It was similar in the Charlton and Preston games - well in control, then gifting them a way back.

That said, back to back wins not to be sniffed out, still with many players out. Happy Days!

For the XG nerds and according to BBC Sport:

Wrexham 2.64

QPR 1.43

Simply don't trust or understand those figures. Rangers had 6 shots on targets to Wrexham's 7, and Rangers hit the post.

They make sense though. We scored two worldies, Moore had a free header and they had two or three golden chances you'd have expected them to score from.

Not THE stat that matters, but we'd have lost that to a clinical team despite scoring three...

Agreed. However, the “game state” (as the nerds call it) matters here. I don’t think they have those chances and exert that pressure if it’s not two nill to us, away from home. A better team, of course, control and kill the game in a more comprehensive way. But for this young team and coach, learning as they go, it’s a fantastic result nonetheless.

Managed to watch the game on a stream - impressed with our first half performance and thought we deserved to be 2-0 up at half-time.

Always thought Wrexham would come back into it 2nd half - that 3rd goal was the clincher for us. They did have a couple of other chances but we also had the Dembele chance.

Hands up, I thought he should have stayed.

Me too but given the circumstances, I think Kone was smart money.

I would have Kelman over Frey and Celar though, had that been possible. I wonder if he is thinking maybe he should have stayed too. Would have been a pretty good set of options with Burrell.

One can dream.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Brilliant day and a reward for the fans who were absolutely fantastic from start to finish

I thought we looked a class above at times and we showed what an asset it is to finally have some pace is in the squad

Special mention for Vale , Norrington-Davis and Burrell who were all excellent

Also well done to the manager who has changed things around since the Cov game and thrown the game model out of the window

Up the Rangers

Completely.

Kelman had a big falling out with the club. He hinted at it in the Charlton program long before Kone arrived so he was doomed wasn't he.

I don't like the way the club has conducted business by treating Kelman and Ba badly but in Kone's short time here that ruthlessness has delivered.

QPR uber alles isn't something I want to continue though.

Just want to add a nod to Spaceman P who took on the poison chalice of the Charlton fred and has come up with back-to-back wins; cheers pal!

I'm very pleased the way Norrington Davies has slotted in makes you wonder whom he upset at his previous club. Much better than I expected, so well played him.

This is so mad it sounds fake but he's only played 360 league minutes for Sheff Utd since October 2022. That's 4 full 90s in 3 years!

So impressive as he's taken like a duck to water in our team and can only imagine he will get better with further gametime.

Also great competition for our young Esquerdinha who can hopefully use this to further improve

He did have some injury issues which kept him out for almost 2 years 2022-2024 and then got injured again last season.
