Mbengue is prone to Samba Diakite levels of lunacy sometimes but Liam provides the yin to that hang. Really, really like this lad and I can see him progressing to the top.

He’s so effective as is just obsessed with defending, which sometimes gets forgotten is the main job of a centre back! Bit like this nonsense of buying a goalie for their skills with their feet rather than their hands!

Today was a real test for him against Moore and thought he handled him very well
I commented on the fred that in the 1st 10 minutes he clattered into the back of Moore, just remind Moore he was there, love my CBs doing that
