Has Kone's goal already bagged Goal of the Season. 09:16 - Sep 14 with 5071 viewsnumptydumpty

Good distribution by Nardi.
Progressive pass upfield by Morrison.
Superb backwards flick by Vale into space ahead of Madsen.
Great pass forward from Madsen with the correct amount of pace.
Kone takes a couple of touches to make room for the shot.
From the edge of the area, an absolute thunder blaster in off the cross bar.

Also, to put us two nil up on the stroke of half time.
A critical goal in the game, at a critical time in the match.

Can we have one of these types of goals every week please Rangers...

What a goal !!!!

Twitter is saying he's on £70k a week! That can't be right can it?

QPRs squad list for the second time around in the premier league in 2014/15 vibes about Wrexham, flashing the cash, big time and with no real plan !!

I feel really embarrassed to even think about asking this question on here but I'm going to anyway...

I saw on a thread on the QPR FB page (yes FB, don't kill me for it ) that Kone's contract is for 1 year!! I know (hope!) it's ludicrous to even contemplate this is true. But I just to know that's it's definitely not the case before I reply to this person that what he's heard is complete and utter bollocks!

Hilariously wrong and they are just basing it on Capology which guesses wages and length. As we don't disclose contract length they just set it to 1 year and extend if they stay on. If you look at https://www.capology.com/club/qpr/salaries/ you'd think Saito Poku Kone Burrell all expire in a year, obviously they don't. For the fee spent you'd expect at least 4 years

I mean we can't know for sure, but I'd bet you his transfer fee that's not correct.
We're not going to shell out £3m+ on a player who can then walk for free in 9 months time.
We're trying to develop prospects to sell, and he's certainly one of those.
And, although they're keeping the info from us, the whole strategy atm seems to be longer contracts to stop a BOS/Manning situation recurring - Varane and Morrison both got extensions after a year, Field has been renewed twice in 18 months, Burrell is allegedly on a five-year deal.

I think even by the standards of Facebook that's a nonsense one.

Although, looking at this beast of a striker we've got ourselves, I have been wondering what's wrong with him. Maybe this is it!

The move was brilliant and what a finish! Conor Coady is still wondering what happened.

I can't imagine that state of mind was helped much in the second half as he slowly lumbered towards the ball and a white and blue blur rocketed past and the ball wasn't there any more

This is exactly what I said. Even if we sold him in January we'd make a loss as no one would pay more than £3m for a player who'd be free just a few months later!!

Stupid question!

The trick here is not to read anything football-related on Twitter. Actually 'football-related' is probably superfluous in that sentence.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Oh watching that that brings a smile to my face and a glow to my heart... outrageous goals! Surely the greatest player to grace the second division?

Pretty sure we can't sell him in January, even if we wanted to.

He played for Wycombe before joining us and I think the 2 clubs a season rule still applies.
