Blackburn v Ipswich 18:14 - Sep 25 with 846 views | raynor94 | Abandoned Saturday with 11 minutes to go and Ipswich down to 10 men have now been ordered to replay the game in full Harsh on Rovers in my opinion, getting old now but didn't we have an abandoned game against Exeter when leading?

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Nah don’t think that would be necessary, and players aren’t allowed to walk off without permission anyway. Just give a goal head start and start from scratch. Thats the honourable way to do it.

Blackburn v Ipswich on 12:22 - Sep 26 with 93 views | ReslovenSwan1 | There is usually decent drainage at most ground these days. They should take a 1 hour recess after a nasty shower. Let the drainage work and restart the game. These events occurs when the drainage systems temporarily overwhelmed. The fans can hang around for an hour or two or go home. I am sure after about 1 hour then pitch would have been perfectly playable.. Finish the game in the early hours if necessary. It is called being pragmatic. The team losing and down to 10 men will clearly not want to be pragmatic. They should not have a choice.

FYI ewood park is located in an area at risk from the River Darwen, which can rise and overflow its banks, particularly after heavy rainfall, the rain started 2 days before and continued upto the game so I am not surprised it was abandoned but listening to people I know it should have been abandoned well before the 80th minute.

There’s more to it than that. All the stewards and staff will have to stay on longer, if there’s say 300 staff working on match day they’d have to be paid the extra and a lot of them are contractors would the security company/club etc be willing to pay that extra £10k or whatever it is?
