David Armstrong is in the all-time greatest Middlesbrough XI and, of course he was in our best ever team in the 80s, but his autobiography is one of the most depressing books I've ever read. I guess that's what playing for both Middlesbrough and Southampton does to you in the end. You're certainly not going to have any medals to show for it.
