The band that everyone living in Sheffield assumed were going to be the big break out, and then it turned out to be Arctic Monkeys instead. Always felt a bit sorry for Milburn.

Winston Hazel, local legend in Sheffield. Organised the seminal Jive Turkey parties in early 90s, involved in most things cool and wonky in Sheffield's dance music scene since. This is one of his many aliases

Here's a rare one
Saw them at the White Hart in Southall. Made quite a few trips there to see quite a few bands back then. Easiest way back, the 105 bus from Southall to White City but always had to get off at Hangar Lane for a pi$$ and wait for the next bus.

Wow, that's a blast from the past! I seem to recall seeing them live at The Old Trout pub in Windsor, supporting an embryonic Porcupine Tree....
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Straight outta Halifax. Tasty, this one!
Meanwhile, in Sheffield:
I saw Paradise Lost once. I think they supported Sepultura. I only liked one song by them but it was very good.
Here's the most Yorkshire thing you'll ever hear.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.
