Though he's still no idea why we only played for 20 minutes, apparently.
Mate, we’ve won 10 points from 12 after that horror show at Coventry. Last season we lose that game yesterday 1-0. This is work in progress still….and it’s stellar progress compared to what went before. Just enjoy it FFS.

Why can't we do both - enjoy the recent points haul AND critique the 2-3 games where we've played in patches? I'm a perfectionist, like any man of passion who wants to improve. There have been some very promising things, but also a flakiness and inconsistency the mananger and team need to address if we're to progress. Yesterday was a poor point, if you like, and also a case in point. So I don't think I'm asking too much for my team to turn up and do their jobs for 90 mins.

After Cov, if you'd offered 10 from the next 12, only an idiot would not have taken it. Maybe we were off it a bit yesterday, but its been a great response in the last four games.

True, but if we’re to make a serious run up the league with what is our best squad for some time, we need to grasp these opportunities with both hands. No escaping it was for most part, a disappointing performance, that even the head coach can’t explain.

Your last point also worries me. Isn't thatpart of his job?
Especially as 8 of the top ten teams drew in their last match.
I'm sure they could all forensically analyse how they should have won and point out failures in tactics, team spirit, consistency etc. but in reality we all have to expect the team will have off days.

Very true.
