I really don't understand what is going on
In the transfer window we brought in these players
ROERSLEV
JEVERT
FELLOWS
AZAZ
And all four on the bench today, why do we buy players that aren't better than what already have.
Both FELLOWS & Azaz were stand out players for previous clubs & we don't play them.
Also our best player & most promising player pre season was Jay Robinson & he was not even in the squad today.
We are in the habit of making good players look bad " WHY".
Ooh. And I forgot to mention Damian Downes.

We bought players who are Championship standard : not players who are good enough to win it or even get promoted from it. So, they were never going to improve us, as we already had players who knew the higher echelons of the Championship and even the Premier League.
Where did Middlesbrough finish with Azaz? Lower than in the season before he joined them. George Long wasn't even good enough for an average Norwich team.
As for the ones from overseas, Damion Downs was the 18th highest goalscorer in the German second division. We could surely have afforded one of the players who scored more goals than him; perhaps even the top goalscorer.
We aimed too low with our recruitment.

Looks like we're going to have to struggle on until January without a proper centre forward - and even then, I don't trust these clowns to recruit one any better than what we've already got (which isn't saying much of course!).
Ross Stewart - or 'Roscoe' as Will Still calls him - is going to be out for weeks & even when he does come back, his fitness & ability to play more than an hour here, an hour there will be called into question. How is 'Roscoe' going to survive the long cold Winter months battling away in the Championship with his fitness history?
This season is going to be all about (desperately) trying to grab one of those play-off positions and nothing else. We are going to have to do it all again, like under Rylan, via Wembley. Anything else is just wishful thinking. |  |
