Is this entitlement on what certain people ‘think we should have’ as opposed to entitlement from the likes of Ipswich fans regards what ‘they had’ last season ? I choose them as a very entitled supporter base as we saw when Burgess signed.

At the moment I don't want him gone FB but I do think we should have done better this season. Sheehan in my opinion has made some very poor decisions in team selection and substitutions it needs to improve. If we are around the same position at Christmas with the same mistakes being made i think it will be not only supporters asking questions. I really hope we see an improvement. |  | | |

The directors have invested quite heavily in this squad so far and I would assume they are expecting a positive position high up the league in the play offs if not in the top 2. We are mid table at the moment and would probably have been higher if concentration levels in 3 of the home games had not wilted causing dropped points.
I can vividly remember the old days at the Vetch when signing players was a rarity and we just got on with watching our new free transfers doing their bit......times have changed and expectations mean we must achieve promotion to the promised land. I think it comes out of frustration, the way we set up against Leicester was just not good enough, 4-1-4-1 with Stamenic trying to cover defencive midfield across the width of the pitch was ridiculous, he should have changed it earlier with Galbraith or Franco working with him an only one AM. Then he seems to react to the other teams substitutions instead of being proactive. But its very easy to manage from the stands | | | |

Agree with you,he’s relatively inexperienced and will learn from every game and his coaching team needs to help more as well,so let’s be patient and keep cheering the boys on

There’s no doubt he should and will be judged as a manager who has had massive investment into the squad (by our standards).
They are also sensible enough to realise it takes time to build an effective team when you bring in ten or so new players at the same time with most of them being in first team contention.
He shouldn’t be anywhere near the sack and while I’m confident these owners will have contingency plans in place, I doubt they are exploring them too aggressively at the moment.
It needs to pick up though. He got the job on the back of doing a lot better with a much weaker squad last season. He needs to get back to those levels at a minimum. | | | |
