442 won’t happen. Particularly with two attacking fullbacks, two wingers who don’t protect them and one of the two central midfielders being very attack minded. We’d get ripped apart.
I completely think Sheehan has to be more positive and think about causing opponents problems, but wouldn’t want us to go kamikaze either. There has to be a balance.

with another disappointing display last evening questions HAVE to be asked, as i said on another thread during the international break this group of games will show us the reality of where we are and, lets be honest it is,
Now is it the coaching? are the players not getting what is required of them? but unless things improve and quickly the 14000 will drop like a stone,
I would like to think that these current owners will not wait too long to address the problems all can see, we will wait and see but a MAJOR improvement is required and the manager, coaches and players should be looking at themselves to ask what can I DO to get things right as clearly something is not working

And they need a bit of synergy with their teammates.
Yes, it was against 10 men, but QPR were playing short, simple passes and moving into space. Often a sequence of three or four one touch passes.
Nothing complicated, just being on their toes, giving the simple ball and anticipating either where to go to get it back or where it’s likely to be in a couple of passes time. You could almost see the drills they do in training at times. We don’t do that. | | | |

I hope I'm wrong on this but Sheehan can probably sense the knives being sharpened and will probably play it safe again against Norwich instead of throwing caution to the wind and going for a more gung-ho approach.
We won that cup game against Forest because we knew against PL opposition in the cup we were underdogs but in the league every game is high stakes and every point precious.
