Does anyone know if QPR Plus lets you buy and watch a video subscription if you use a VPN to a dark market country, or does it try and block it like Netflix does if you use a VPN. Any help much appreciated. |  | | |  |

I have only done it with game day passes rather than a subscription for the season but it works fine. Belgium seems to be a good choice for an overseas trip!

The club has actively promoted NordVPN with this in mind…..there’s even a discount for it when you click through from QPR.com
Trickier to set up on a TV but piece of piss on a laptop or tablet. Might need to change the location and refresh the browser a few times but eventually it’ll work fine.
Since the Sky deal, very rarely need a VPN - if you live abroad. I’m sure they will try and close that down somehow in the future. No doubt everyone will find another way by then - Millwall sponsored fire-sticks for example. |  |

That you can - but not so easy if the TV is so close to the wall that you need to take it off the bracket each time or the dogs keep pulling the cable out every time we celebrate or shout at the screen !
Some of the VPNs can be set up on the router so you can do it that way. My old router doesn’t support it but the new one should do. Hoping they just build one in one day.
I also found the direct TV access less glitchy and much smoother in general. It’s nearly as good as a High Def broadcast these days. [Post edited 25 Oct 14:28]

I’m sure the ISPs try based on IP address and Amazon must use something in the App as an additional layer for their Prime service.
Probably work again if you clear the cache and/or reset the router and get a new IP. | |

If you think your ISP is blocking your VPN, some VPNs have specialized services to get round it. On Nord for example you can use an Obfuscated Server, which gets round most things. For example iPlayer is very good at detecting VPNs and blocking them, but a UK obfuscated server usually works fine. |  | | |
