"non-season ticket holders who attend Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two encounter against Fleetwood Town will receive a priority voucher for the Leeds United game at the turnstiles".

Whats the point of me having a season ticket if the club are going to do this. Shafted again..
I think the offer will mean that top priority will still be given to season ticket holders, but then after a period of sales, the next category will be those who get the voucher from the match against Fleetwood.
Thereafter, they will be on 'open sale'.
As always, season ticket holders will have top priority when tickets are made available.

Can't you see that season ticket holders already have vouchers (numbered A to H) at the back of the season ticket book and one of these will be used to get a ticket for the Leeds game
So anybody with a season ticket won't need to get a voucher when you enter the ground for the Fleetwood game on Saturday !!!!

Also, it's an attempt to get more Dale fans to the Fleetwood game , obviously. It's a first step in the right direction and acting promptly. So far, so good...
What is being done to spread this message? What PR is being set up?
I WANT to be sick to death of the number of times I hear about the Leeds match from various sources.
Let's get the party started. Let's kick up a frenzy. Come on!!!!!!!!!!!

Good work by the club. Hopefully it'll be well advertised in the Ob, online etc and a few more people will turn up on Saturday.
No not good work - lazy work. This was how a big gaME WAS SOLD IN THE 1960S.
Even the big clubs, who have no real need to sell games go beyond this now - it should have been The Leeds game is part of a three or four game package. Look at the crowd City got for a meaningless game against Pilzen - they expected it would be meaningless but sold the games as a package.
Weve still got our heads in the 1960s.

Of course it's good work, they've got a prompt announcement out and started the process. Yes, it should be the start of a prolonged marketing campaign including the other games (see the other thread), but they've done well to get this out within a couple of hours of business.
Flyers promoting the Mansfield/Bristol Rovers game which can be exchanged for a pie/programme/couple of quid off one of the games is a simple idea they could sort easily enough.

Doubt you can offer it as part of a package when the gate will be split.
That's not to say the three games before shouldn't be a package.

I sort of agree with you it is the easy option.
Benefit of the doubt though they have only had a morning to do something - Voucher this Saturday and attendees can get priority tickets.
Then the clubs master stroke - Promotion part 2.
BUY Mansfield - Bristol Rovers together for £20 ( Whatever ) and you can buy your full prices Leeds Ticket ( amended as realised Leeds could not be packaged as split gate ).
3 x Home games in 10 days needs some selling so come on Dale!!!.

Tell me your post is a wind up.....please !!
This game isn't about you or me (both season ticket holders), its about what is the best policy for filling the stadium, cant you see that ??
Season ticket holders should get priority over everyone. Not have to compete with other "priority voucher holders" for tickets. Part of the reason people get a season ticket is for the priority in ticket sales. Once again the club aren't making things clear. Is it season tickets first then voucher holders? It better be or I wont buy a season ticket again, as there is no advantage in doing so. Its a good idea, but its got to be marketed and advertised correctly, otherwise its a waste of time.

It really couldn't be made any clearer.

Season Ticket holders will have first dibs. How come everyone else can understand that?
There's no advantage in buying a season ticket!!!!!!!! Each of the 23 games is cheaper for starters.
Sometimes I despair.

My season ticket gives me plenty of benefits/advantages...£££ saved over paying on the gate each game, priority sale for tickets in cup competitions and money saving vouchers.
Have you got a different season ticket or are you just moaning for the sake of it?

Yes, that's why it mentions season ticket holders as having first priority!!
It is anticipated that the game will be all ticket and therefore Season Ticket holders will be given priority to purchase their own seats for the fixture. Further to that, non-season ticket holders who attend Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two encounter against Fleetwood Town will receive a priority voucher for the Leeds United game at the turnstiles.
Where does it actually say that

As a ST holder, we will get first dabs on Leeds tickets using one of the vouchers in the book...I"m assuming we can only buy 1...??????
Also assuming as a ST holder and attending the Fleetwood game, I will be given a "voucher at the turnstile"??? Which would then allow me to buy a second ticket ??
If so, that another benefit of being a ST holder...
Think we will know more on Wednesday
At the end of the day , who ever wants a ticket will get a ticket

Do you honestly believe that seated season ticket holders will be given preference over standing s/t holders???
YOU do not have the right to give someone else permission to tell me what I can and can't do.
