Good luck Bastien! An exciting player to watch at times and I would've liked to have seen a lot more of him, but I fully understand why he isn't in Hill's plans. I can't believe he's not gone to a francophone club, after Tazzy's comments I was sure he'd join FC Dudelange, Blue Bombers or (at a push) Dover Athletic.
In all seriousness though I'm a little sad to see him go, definitely one of the more skilful players at the club. Not sure he ever got that full run in the team that some of his performances warranted.

With Camps and Allen around not mentioning others, he was down the pecking order somewhat.

Yep, there's a lot of hery worship on this thread.
It appears that by last Christmas KH had decided to move him on. He made only six appearances in 2015 and in five of those was either subbed or a sub.
Has he gone to Carlisle with a dowry, I wonder. Unless Curle offered him better terms he presumably had the option of staying with Dale until 2016.
It'll be interesting to see how things pan out with Joel Logan, the other transfer-listed player. At 20, if he stays, he might develop enough to get another chance. | | | |
