Taking a Gooner to the game on Saturday and he wants to watch Arsenal City beforehand, upsetting as that may end up being for him. Which pubs in vicinity of the ground are likely to have it on? Assume Coningham will but just tried to ring and couldn’t get through. Any others people know of? Ta

In the upper loft/blue and white they used to show the early games - last resort i know but possibly an option. The Green/Crown & Sceptre also used to have the sports but haven't been to these places since re-opening.

C&S never usually got the football on so was shocked when I walked in post-Millwall to see the Community Shield on but then realised it was on BBC. Only sport you usually get there is the 6 Nations…shudder.

The Egerton / Flynns in Dalling Road used to be good. Now called the Prince of Wales, apparently. It's a fair walk to get to the game, but because it's a mile away, you get to drink from a real glass. The website says Sports TV.

Pocket Watch certainly had the sports channels before lockdowns.

The Prince of Wales was its original name although locals called it the Prisoner of War.
