As would any forward in that situation. Valery only had to make contact with him, which he did, to get a card.
I'm more annoyed with Ralph for not taking Valery off before that. When Valery got that first yellow so early, being the character he is, the second one was inevitable.
Let's hope this doesn't now go to extra-time, leaving the players shattered for the Brentford game. Now, that they're down to 9 outfield players, they are already going to be expending more energy than usual. [Post edited 8 Jan 2022 18:08]
