I think generally we do that, Cooper Cundle and Cullen work really hard both attacking and defensive but most of our goals are conceded either from set pieces or overplaying at goal kicks or around the back and giving the ball away to an opposition striker to run virtually unopposed towards our keeper.
If we would just cut out that BS and taking stupid risks we donāt have to take weād at least halve our goals conceded rate. |

Opinions aye, EE , we disagree, but we're civil about it. I genuinely believe he's holding us back, not because of his abilities, but because of his role in martinball. For Grimes to be an offensive success we need pace out wide, real pace, instead we have Manning and Lati, the mere fact that Oko Flex was so criminally underused just shows RM will not deviate until he's removed. He changes every now and then, but it seems that he only does that to buy him more time, and he soon reverts back. |
I think if we had Scott Sinclair or Nathan Dyer type pace out wide we would possibly see a much different Grimes in terms of passing creativity. Unfortunately most of the time we have no-one out wide at best Manning & Lati.
It is difficult to understand why RM has opted to play him with Joe and Fulton. Both can play similar roles to the much maligned Grimes but neither are as good at what he does. He keeps us ticking over, keeps possession, wins back possession but is perceived as negative even though neither of the others are attacking threats either. The balance is all wrong with 3 deep lieing midfielders & attacking width being provided by 2 full backs without any real pace.
I think that we can agree to disagree on how we see Grimes general play. What we can agree on is the lack of genuine pace, team formation & the personnel available are significant contributing issues to our pedestrian walking pace football |  | | |

Just being realistic sir, if you are hell bent on running Cooper down at every opportunity (Iām informed you had a thread deleted yesterday along similar lines) - then you have to accept people will recognise his achievements when they do well.
If you donāt like it when people discuss his successes then itās probably better not to bring him up every 5 minutes, especially when the manager you love is languishing and floundering so badly with us.

Itās best to wait until he actually has a bad season as opposed to posting about him every 5 minutes and then throwing your toys out of the pram when someone corrects it or points out the obvious.
