slightly random post here, but I think its time we stopped playing Pigbag as the goal music and instead not play anything when we score.
I just feel like its too Americanised, and it would rather hear the crowd sing Pigbag when a goal goes in, I just feel it would be better for the atmosphere.

Nah I think we've just forgotten the joy it brings when you're hearing it and singing along with it as we've just swept in a third goal in a 3-0 home win against some hapless no-hopers.
We've just been the hapless no-hopers for too long.
Same with Hi-Ho Silver Lining, poor thing's probably got dust mites all over it at the moment.

Yes get rid , never joined in with that as you say Amercanised idea . They also deafen you with pigbag just prior to kick off making pre match conversation difficult .

Yeah it is very americanised and not sure it contributes to the atmosphere, would be amazing if the fans could sing the goal music themselves (hopefully means seeing a goal at the loft end too!)

Thats my thinking too, much rather we chanted it rather than it come through the PA System.

Looks like my idea of a Blackhawk, sweeping low across the pitch, firing into a Millwall packed School End with the Ride of the Valkyries blasting over the tannoys isn't going to happen then.
Doesn’t do much for me but have to say I’ve taken my children and nephews over the years and they all love the goal music, anything even if small to make them want to come back. I guess this does rely on us actually scoring though.

Sitting in the SAR where absolutely fck all comes out of the tannoy, I didn’t realise that the club do play it, I genuinely thought it was a spontaneous outburst from the crowd, least it is where we sit.

We certainly shouldn't be playing it when we're making it 1-3 in the last minute against Coventry City.
Was half way down South Africa Road when that went in . The pig bag song reminded me I had missed a goal as rare as rocking horse shite at my end (lower loft) . How’s your luck?

Well I'm for it.
Even if we have to corral a bunch of Millwall fans into the School End while we're playing, say, Sheffield Wednesday. It'd be a public service.

First time I remember hearing goal music was away to Watford around 2001. We lost 3-1 with Carl Connelly scoring for us. Anyway they played this bastard of a song every time they scored, and I've hated goal music ever since.
