Looks like they have made it past the first obstacle...

walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/first-reform-councillor-elected-wales-31003072

They beat Labour there too, interesting times.

So what is it, a claim or a fact ? for someone who hates tittle tattle I'm surprised at you spreading rumours .

Labour supporters are running scared and clasping at straws. They really should be thinking how they can change and give Welsh voters what they want, instead of just doing as they wish.

It's an allegation made by Blaiklock, she says the proof is with a solicitor. If it's true it could mean Farage has broken the law and potentially end up in custody.

Either way Reform seem to be imploding and some people seem to be seeing through the Cult of Farage as it's nothing but a con by a conman. Reform is nothing without Farage.

Is Scunthorpe more important than Port Talbot then ?

He is right for once, but where was he when Port Talbot was decimated ?

Great photo PR exerercise , look at me I am with these guys and stand up for them .

A familiar stance done by all Politicians these days , even him over The Pond .

TATA wanted out of the UK years ago , they are a money making business in the main .
That is their right to make a profit .

Think our freeble economy will challenge a business so big and Worldwide .
We are toothless in the current climate .

TATA will laugh at us .

So Farage obviously opposes Trumps steel import tariffs??? He's been very quiet about that if he does.

Nope. Never voted for them in my life and won't next year.

So does Farage opose Trumps tariffs? All I can see he's said is to call them excessive but quantified that by saying that they were an election promise and you shouldn't break election promises. By that comment he shouldn't refer to the 20 mph speed limist in Wales as "an anti-motorist racket" which he has done.

It's just more Reform bluster. Farage is a duplicitous conman.

Pretty powerless as were the UK government following privatisation.

I read yesterday that French state owned EDF has generated around £100 billion profit from the UK in the last 3 years, yet we’re always told privatisation will benefit us.

They and the previous Tory government could have done far more for Port Talbot, the present Labour have given money to Tata to produce scrap steel.

But it's now dawned on the government that if Scunthorpe closes their blast Furnaces we will be the only country in Europe not producing virgin steel.

Hence the government talking of privatising Scunthorpe, something which should have happened at Port Talbot

Am I missing something here, isn't Scunthorpe already privatised?

The closure of raw steel making at Port Talbot was signalled from a decade back. Government people seeing this and the closure of Ford arranged Ineos to come to Bridgend. It was shelved after Brexit and moved to France. A Brexit knee in the groin.

These people promise a lot and deliver next to nothing. US and Asian investments should now be all over Wales but are not.

There is some talking of US money coming to UK arriving out of Trumponomics. We will see.

The closure of Port Talbot Steel making and extracting coal form Merthyr was coordinated. I did a post called "a very strange welsh affair" where coal was being extracted from Ffos y Fran open cast. The coordination was not done exactly right leading to the mine continuing to work without planning permission.

All the bodies involved turned a blind eye to keep TATA happy and the steel works going until the announcement. Extinction Rebellion were out of the loop and the good old South Wales constabulary dealt with them.

Ineos was the establishment helping Welsh workers adapt. Reform / Ukip and their like blew that up by persuading we;sh people to support Brexit and the Welsh folk left high and dry. Follow Reform and lose your job.
