50 points used to be the target to stay up in the Champ.
Very much doubt that so many points will be required this season.
They have 2 crucial games against Derby and Hull, but with so many other teams looking like they will self-implode, they should have enough to stay up.
Saying that though, they've been avoiding us in the league for 15 years, so it could yet become interesting :-) |  |

Having two games against them would be something i'd look forward to because those games are different.
But i'd much rather they got relegated, went bust again, fratton was sold to make way for a tesco, the uk declared a hard land border with portsea island and the entire PO postcode was used as a toxic waste dump (with the residents refused the right to leave it).

I suspect you are right. Only Derby and Hull have decent enough teams and managers to perhaps haul Pompey back down a place or two. It would then need Oxford, Stoke and Cardiff to finish above them and all three of those sides this season have been consistently abject at best.
How many of us want them to stay up for the Derby game and how many want them to go down so we can still be a league above them? | | | |
