Hope not. Surely we need someone who has done well in the Champ and at least ok in the Prem, but also is his own man. Steve Cooper anyone?

Steve Cooper. Not for me I'm afraid. History tells us that SR will choose some unknown from a lower lge.

Would not be surprised Rohl is looking elsewhere, especially if RB Leipzig are interested - added to the fact SR are running the club and I would think Rohl has had his fill of basket case owners for the time being! Curbishley? Out for too long and nah anyway… Cooper? Yep, I’d be happy with that - or… If Chelsea fail to gain that 5th CL space then I suspect Uncle Todd ‘moneybags’ Boehly will find it unacceptable. If so, we could do a lot worse than get Maresca in, proven ability to get a team promoted and able to work at PL level. The expectation level here would be far less and if Spors turns out to be half decent we would surely be in a far better position to at least give it a proper go if we did get back up despite SR still running the club. Why does everyone play this same way now?! It’s so boring, killing football at its core: entertainment.

That tedious style of football is not the only thing that is killing the game. 1) Players & Managers (coaches) all being given ridiculously long contracts as well as receiving absurd salaries. 2) VAR. 3) Too many substitutions 4) Theatrical cheating by players. 5) Stoppages 6) Fouls given for minimal contact. 7) Tantrums & involvement of coaches / assistants during match. 8) Hours of analysis by Carragher, Neville & others. Apart from all that the game is fine .

Could that be the same Carragher, the tedious, self opinionated, whiny Scouse idiot who it’s suggested has history for spitting at fourteen year old girls ?
