"My friend runs a small cafe in West Wales . Due to Welsh Labour increasing business rates on hospitality businesses ( they remain unchanged in England ) his business rates are increasing from £12000 to £19000!
On top of this he has to find an additional £3000 for Labour’s national insurance hike and another £3000 for minimum wage increases .
His profit last year was £25000 so unless he increases his charges his projected profit for this year is reduced to £12000. He works from 6am to 6pm 6 days a week. It wasn't just mines and factories, I'm born and bred in the Mumbles, many families from down that way have Northern Cornish and Devon blood, fishing stock see, my great, great grnadfather was from North Devon. The old Mumbles slang is really quite Cornish sounding, not that you hear it much these days. In that sland I think I'd have been an "innalong"

DNA can distinguish people who are Welsh DNA, English DNA, Irish DNA, Scots DNA.
Factually as ethnic groups, not the same.
Thats not to say that any one group is better or worse, but they can distinguish.
It also does not distract from Plaids civic welshness.
