Good write up - thought we were ok in the first half and good in the 2nd. Totally deserved the win and always something special about a last minute winner especially when it's as good a strike at this one.
I've been to Preston a few times as it's only just over an hour way for me and nearly didn't go to this one. So glad I did!! |  |

I don’t know who does the Alt Commentaries but surely it’s worth a one off, don’t need the whole game - just the lead up and the goal. It’s what Sweet Baby Jesus would have wanted at this precious time of year, along with some new towels for the shower, Gwen.
Can’t credit Brady with the corner - my eyes are somewhat old and bent but I’m pretty sure I saw Ashby glance it onto the post with his bonce. Very nearly an Owain Goal…. |  |

We were doing exactly the same thing in the ground too.Some baffling decisions from the officials and then a shot heard all around the world,or at least this far flung corner of Lancashire.
I didn’t see what happened to the fat mouthy PNE fan who seemed quite happy to give it large,like his dinners I guess,but disappeared like a fart in the wind after our 2nd goal went in.
Maybe he had to be back in the asylum before nurse Ratched noticed he’d gone awol? [Post edited 20 Apr 17:14]
