In amongst the doom & gloom a hopeful bright bit of positivity...

Me & my wife welcomed our first on Sunday evening. She's arrived 2 weeks early and in fact caused me to miss Saturday's game as I got to London, got a phone call a couple of hours before kick off that waters had broken and therefore could I please come home ASAP.

We're still in hospital currently as it ended up being a long and challenging labour and whilst mum & baby are well they've both needed some extra recovery time and help t kickstart some things.

The NHS staff at Leicester Royal Infirmary have been amazing with us and I've also been able to spend every minute here too instead of getting kicked out every night.

As holiday camps go it's not much cop but hopefully we'll be going home tomorrow.

Knowing we had a girl coming I've been seeing Dad's and Daughters at home games in recent months hoping in the years to come that will be us. She's got two sporty parents so hopefully she'll have interest, and if she shows interest in football she'll be whisked off to the R's and hopefully become a third generation Superhoop!

Congratulations - My daughter attended her first QPR game with me at 5 years old. She has just turned seventeen and is QPR mad. She is now a season ticket holder and going to Sunderland with her mates on Saturday.

I will never forget being in the away end with her at Bristol City when Yoann Barbet scored in the last minute. The celebrations will stay with us both forever.

Enjoy - A Dad and Daughter relationship is very special.

Congratulations, mate. It's a lot of graft but probably the most rewarding thing you'll ever do x 1,000,000 and loads of fun. I hope you're all well.

We had our first over Xmas and are currently at the learning to giggle phase. Enjoy it, it’s great fun and the pluses far outweigh any missed sleep

Lovely to read this mate, congratulations.

I have a four year old daughter, and can't wait to take her to Loftus Road at some point.

Though living in Brighton I think I might have a challenge convincing her it's better than watching Albion...

Also, a nice reminder, today, of what supporting Rangers is really all about. Bigger than any manager/ CEO.

Congratulations both! I had my first in August and it's been a hell of a ride - those first few days and weeks are incredibly special, as everything outside of your new family melts away and you get to be solely focussed on your beautiful daughter.

9 months on, I've come to realise everything is just a phase. They'll go from being awake every 2 hours and you think it's never going to end, to sleeping 11 hours through the night. From cluster feeding (look it up, nobody ever tells you about it) to hunger strikes. You'll cope with it all and become better parents and people for it. Best of luck!

Congratulations. I'm dad to two daughters and I have to say it's the most amazing thing. They're still young and I'm sure there are... challenges ahead... But for now I love every minute of being in a house full of women!

I took my eldest to a game when she was 5, which was probably a bit young, I'm still holding out hope they'll get the bug. They sometimes watch a bit of it on telly with me, and the eldest wore the Guinness top my dad bought me as a kid to her sports day in school, where she fielded confused questions about which team it was admirably

Congrats. Fantastic news.

It's definitely hard work but a lot of fun.

There's hope on her being a fan. There are far more female fans than when I first went in the 90s. There many dads and daughters even at away matches. I've brought up two grown up QPR fans among a sea of Chelsea and Man U fans among their mates.

Congratulations 👍. My daughter is 21 now and at uni in Liverpool. She has a season ticket, but she gets to more away games than at home. It’s really great going with her to games and I feel very lucky. The last away game was Preston which was brilliant 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵⚪️. Hopefully you’ve got something like this to come 😀 Until then , try to get some sleep when you can 😂

Thank you all for your kind wishes 😊 we're still here as little one has been treated for jaundice, we're waiting for some blood test results to see if we get to go home today or need to wait. Hoping for the former, worst holiday camp ever. I must admit the 24/7 restaurant, on a price-quality ratio, is actually pretty decent and has been a lifesaver.

Congratulations! I infected my youngest son with the QPR virus when he was young and, despite living in Rutland and Leicester for nearly 30 years, he's still sharing our pain.
Hope your new arrival has some Zamora Days to make it all worthwhile😀
