WOW ! That was amazing. 17:35 - May 14 with 2404 views | Marshy67 | Just gone on You Tube and for the first time in years I listened to the Pistols "Never Mind The Bollocks" album. Headphones turned up and WOW! how brilliant were those 11 tracks? For 35-40 minutes I was (cue for a song) seventeen again. Anyone else got an album that they've come back to after many a year and thought how fantastic it still sounds?
WOW ! That was amazing. on 17:42 - May 14 with 2341 views | dutch | Listened to A Love Supreme by John Coltrane for the first time in a long time and almost felt like I had discovered God. Spiritual jazz indeed. Like Taarabt and Bowles and Marsh all rolled into one.
WOW ! That was amazing. on 17:48 - May 14 with 2281 views | loftboy | I had the album, I was about 10, my mum saw it and made me tippex out the word Bollocks on the cover! [Post edited 14 May 22:21]

On one of my first visits to Loftus Road (1975?) there was a fan standing in the Loft holding that very album. Made me think QPR must be a very cool club. And then of course they played wonderful football and we all know the story. Stanley Bowles and John Coltrane, an unlikely pairing, but definitely cool.

WOW ! That was amazing. on 18:24 - May 14 with 2081 views | Beckenhamhoop | Listened to Blue by Joni Mitchell after a nearly 20 year gap during which life had gone in an unexpected direction. Listening to it again had quite a profound, almost Proustian, effect on me where it transported me back to happier, simpler times. I’d never experienced anything like it before or since and I probably haven’t done a very good job of explaining the experience.

Yeah, but when I read the post I thought, "there's no point in asking, you'll get no reply".

I've got two copies one of which is missing the track titles on the reverse. It was said that Richard Branson rushed it out to beat a French version being released to the stores so yeah, quite rare.
WOW ! That was amazing. on 19:26 - May 14 with 1797 views | ted_hendrix | I'm In the midst of reorganising my I-Tunes library, last night I managed to put all my purchased Punk songs onto one playlist with the exception of Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols, that album now has Its own playlist believe It or not called *Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols* ''Pretty Vacant'' ''God Save The Queen'' WTF; play It loud when your In your car pulling Into bloody Sainsbury's car park, windows down causing old Grannies to look at you. **Anyone else got an album that they've come back to after many a year and thought how fantastic it still sounds?** Meddle, Pink Floyd "One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces."

Hi Go to discogs.com enter Sex Pistols Never Mind and search for "filter by country" (UK). The copy you have if it's from 1977 with the pink blank cover and blue and white Virgin label could be worth a few bob depending on the condition of the record and the sleeve.

Simon Mayo does an album show 1-3 greatest hits radio on a Sunday, there’s a section where a viewer will email in requesting a valuation of what they hope is a rare record, the odd one has been 4 figures and sometimes it’s a fiver! Maybe worth dropping him a line.

WOW ! That was amazing. on 23:43 - May 14 with 1128 views | Nov77 | I actually saw Johnathon Rotten yesterday. He was in Fulham standing on the new king’s road near Putney Bridge. He was wearing a bright orange shirt, he’s got a right old belly on him now.

WOW ! That was amazing. on 12:37 - May 15 with 719 views | johann28 | I bought God Save the Queen when it first came out, on the A&M label, before the Pistols switched to Virgin. Needless to say I've still got it. Someone told me the other day that these are extremely rare and can fetch £10,000 or even more at auction. Still recovering from the shock.

If it's mint, it will go for a lot more than that. If it's not, it may only(!) fetch hundreds.

Yeah shit condition, sadly. Played to death and chucked around a lot, I'm afraid. In any case, I like it. And so pleased I kept all my old stuff. I just knew ....
