Some of those are only retianed because they are under contract and we hope to get a transfer fee for them. Some I've never heard of.. 18 of them are first team but i reckon 4 maybe as many as 6will be sold if we can. They all need replacing though. This shows how thin our first team squad is.

I'm not saying it's the case with Faakye, but quite often with the youngsters their approach off the pitch plays a big part of being kept on.

I hope we can get rid of Tjoe a on - he’s never going to make it here

He is a big muscular player but perhaps a lack of pace worked against him. Many up and coming player in the ranks, fanning Iestyn Jones, Brogan Popham.

We always offload several u21s to make room for the next influx coming through.

I think a cut price Brandon Cooper like deal will see him leave.

Just goes to show how much of a mess Levein and Kaplan left us in. We’ll have a much stronger first team next season, but it’s going to take time to build a competitive squad. Water thin in most positions and a glut of underwhelming strikers.

Seeing Delcroix's name on the list, but knowing he's a loanee, makes me wonder if the Swans will want to make an effort to get him via a loan or purchase this summer. Did he impress enough? What do you think will happen?

Yes, but not as a Darling replacement. If he goes, we need a physically dominant centre back. I think Delcroix would be excellent as cover or if we ever had to play three at the back. I wouldn’t make him a priority though.

I thought he was average at times above average at other times. Not a player you would want to be paying a lot of money for.

Grady D 👀 That would be a good rotation option plenty of championship experience. Would take some of the pressure off Ronald. Think of that as a super sub. Ronald stretches the wing back all game. Then Grady comes on 🤯.

He has a point to prove, but he’s in a big box of hundreds of others this summer.

Retained List released on 20:37 - May 24 with 1194 views | Dr_Winston | I thought Delcroix looked very decent. Better than HD for spells. In and out of the side towards the end of the season which won't help any player's performance, but we could do a lot, lot worse.

Even if Darling stayed I would like to see Delacroix back because he looks more comfortable on the left and given we have Tymon and Key would be quite happy at times to use Cabango, Darling and Delacroix across the back provided there was enough experience in the midfield. Price and wages would have to be considered though, if Darling leaves how many centrehalves would we need to bring in?

It's all gone a little bit quiet on Darling hasn't it. So much for the Swans wanting his answer ASAP and not hanging around.

I think he is back from holiday tomorrow then he has a decision to make. It appears all his options now are from teams still in the Championship. But he could still hold on to see if more offers come in.

His contract doesn’t end until June 30th. We are still paying him. He is clearly playing off clubs against each other. Had he wanted to sign he surely would have done so by now. Let’s not forget if he leaves now there will be a transfer fee. If he leaves on July 1st he is out of contract, the only other option is to agree to join another club on July 1st. But don’t know his position on that, the window never seems shut these days. He could leave it until August.

If Russy is getting the Leicester job, then Darling will probably want to hold out to see if he gets a call

Russell Martin frequently dropped Harry Darling when he was the manager here despite spending £1.5m on him not to mention made him (and everyone else in our defence) look bad with his tactical decisions so I'm not as convinced as others are that HD is desperate for a reunion.

Money Talks. As does the bright lights of the PL which he may see Leicester as a favourite to be there in 26/27 season.
