Really happy for him: came on when Chesterfield were chasing the game and got two great assists. Lovely footwork to create space for his second cross. Deserves his day at Wembley.

Agreed. If the brief highlights are anything to go by. it looked an exciting game and Uncle Albert was brilliant.

Side point but if Walsall lose the final that must be the most sickening season ever. Miles ahead at the top of the league and went on a horrific run from about February to eventually lose the last automatic promotion spot to a 97th minute goal after their game had finished. Fate dictates Wimbledon/Notts nick a 1-0 in the last minute of extra time.

Doesn’t Uncs retire at the end of this season? If so would make a great addition to the QPR Community Trust. Very likeable guy and an honest pro.
He could dovetail that with teaching Smyth the art so that he has a better appreciation of how to deliver different types of crosses with the appropriate weight and accuracy; dependent on distance between point of delivery and targeted area or specific player identified.
Two great examples were provided expertly by the Uncs' yesterday. Oh Albert Adomah!
