Oli McBurnie : Swans very much aware of a potential free transfer on 09:09 - May 20 with 3491 views | Gardelino | I'd certainly take him back due to his ability to link the play dropping slightly deeper coupled with the fact that he can comfortably have the ball to feet and won't be as easily pushed off the ball as our current options. He's also a better header of the ball than Vipotnik and has a definite height advantage over Cullen in that sense as well. It won't happen though as we probably wouldn't be able to meet his wage demands.

He would bring much needed experience to the squad and a frontline that would see Ronald,Eom and Inoussa all playing around him AND if Vipotnik was still around then I believe it would benefit Zan aswell. If the club were able to get it done and done within our finances then it's a big thumbs up from me.

Oli McBurnie : Swans very much aware of a potential free transfer on 09:26 - May 20 with 3421 views | heatwave | Free and scores goals at this level. Wages as stated could be the issue. Would that compensate for being free? I know some fans are against the return of former players. Leon and Curt didn't do bad on their return and helped getting us promoted to the top flight on two occasions. (Just a minor point).
Oli McBurnie : Swans very much aware of a potential free transfer on 16:22 - May 20 with 2885 views | ncswan | I have always liked OMB but I think he's sincere when he says he's really enjoying life in the Canaries. He would be somewhat of a roll of the dice, imo. I think Montague & Co will be better off looking elsewhere for a goal scorer or two. They've (Swans) made a great start with Widell, Wales, and Inoussa. I'd rather see Darling signed than move sideways with an OMB signing.

Oli McBurnie : Swans very much aware of a potential free transfer on 23:05 - May 20 with 2434 views | ReslovenSwan1 | If he likes it so much in the Canaries he could sign on for one year at Swansea and return in 2027-28 if and when they return to la Liga. This presumes the Canarian team cannot afford his was ges in league 2.

He scored goals at this level for us when we had Dan James and montero putting the ball on a plate for him but he hasn’t scored many since. I’d like to think he’d thrive getting on the end of some of tymons crosses though.

He’s average, leave him where he is.
Oli McBurnie : Swans very much aware of a potential free transfer on 07:06 - May 23 with 1557 views | Dr_Winston | Scored six goals in 21 Premier League appearances in 23/24. That's pretty good going for a team that struggled all season. 13 goals in 38 Championship games the year before. He was decent for Sheff Utd. His figures for Las Palmas have been less impressive, but we don't know what else was going on there. It's a tentative yes from me depending on the cost. Certainly wouldn't be looking to make him a Marquee player, but we know what he can do and he's still only 28, albeit 29 soon. That last bit might count against him however. We do seem to largely be looking at younger players with a higher resale potential. [Post edited 23 May 7:39]

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

His goalscoring record since he left us is quite modest. The only plus I can see is that sometimes a player will come back to a team where he did well and rediscover his form.
Oli McBurnie : Swans very much aware of a potential free transfer on 10:52 - May 23 with 1354 views | Swans9 | I used to watch him for our u21. He always puts a shift in which is what you need in the championship. Hopefully we sign him before other clubs beat us to it.

If he was available and open to coming here then it's an absolute no brainer for me. Good in the air, can hold a ball up, isn't short of a bit of pace and can finish. Gte rid of yates and Myko and use those funds to fund this move (Easier said than done of course)

Oli McBurnie : Swans very much aware of a potential free transfer on 12:33 - May 23 with 1096 views | hectorshouse | I'm not normally a fan of getting old players back just because we know them. We have taken players back in the past and it has been brilliant for us, namely Curts & Leon, but we've also had disasters, Bony. The fact that it now looks like Oli is a free agent makes me edge towards being in favour of this move, if (and it's a big if) he fits into our pay scales. A front 3/4 of Ronald, Eom, Inoussa & Oli on paper looks exciting, we'll have back ups of Cullen, Vip, Bianchini, Ollie Cooper, Cameron Congreve, Wales & Ginnelly. This assumes we can get rid of Yates & Myko. As I'm writing this I'm convincing myself that this move makes sense and I'm trying not to get excited about having Oli back. The emotional rollercoaster of Summer transfers is already underway...and it's only May

Always was a 100 percenter and that's probably doing him an injustice cause he was definitely worth more, if a deal is possible we should at least try, sure I read that he's become a dad now, that should have settled him down more than a bit. Come home Ollie

A young Scot if those two got a partnership going up top. Surely Scotland would be watching 👀. Oli would be worth a shot. Adds a bit of grit to the team aswell .
