Fled to Spain made me laugh though. He went to Portugal on a pre planned holiday and informed the police when he was coming back and even changed his flights to accommodate them.
Regardless on your views on this guy he has proven online today the holiday, pre accommodation bookings and the fact he informed the police and changed his flights.

The gist was, try to put emotions aside and be careful what you wish for in silencing alternative views. He claims he has been arrested under section 18 of GBH which is essentially the next step down from attempted murder and carries a maximum possible life sentence.
Section 18 of course requires the intent to maliciously injure or wound with the emphasis on intent,

I’ve no idea how the footage for the airport business came in to the public domain, but it shouldn’t have as it potentially prejudices a trial. That’s the law.
