Blood Donors 20:15 - Jun 9 with 3129 views | colinallcars | Apparently NHS close to a red alert as stocks running low. Any donors on here ? I used to say I don't do it cos there's too high a level of alcohol in my blood. Now maybe I'm too old. Think I'll apply though.

Blood Donors on 11:47 - Jun 10 by DannyPaddox | There’s also a Blood Donation Centre in the Westfield Shopping Behemoth W12. Gwan add it to your match day experience. If enough of us donate maybe the blood-based karma will bring us many home wins, trophies, and long waited for glory. FFS, from three at the back to follically-challenged ex-England managers, we’ve tried everything else. And they had packets of Seabrooks Crisps last time I was there! What are you waiting for?* https://www.blood.co.uk/the-donation-process/about-our-donation-venues/westfield *I suppose you’re waiting for the season to start. No need - get some pre-season donations in now. [Post edited 10 Jun 13:49]

Mate, a pint of squash, plain Seabrooks, orange/mint clubs; it doesn't get better than that!

Well, I’m certainly a freak!

Blood Donors on 20:58 - Jun 9 by BazzaInTheLoft | So, I’ve been trying get them to come to my work regularly for years but they always find a reason not too. Wont even visit. We have a huge room that can accommodate 100 people at a time. They always seem to treat my efforts as a inconvenience. 800 people work in my building and all for the same company so easy to promote internally. On a personal note I used to donate regularly but had about three appointments in a row so just fell out the habit. Will have another go. |
Mrs Superhoop has given almost 60 times now. Thinking about work, you are right and think about the people who have to visit there too we could easily make that workable. Drop me a PM and I'll happily send an email too
Blood Donors on 13:43 - Jun 10 with 388 views | W4Hoop | As a student in Dublin in the 70s the blood bank visited college once a year. It was a straight pint-for-pint swap, blood for Guinness. There was always a queue.
Blood Donors on 13:46 - Jun 10 with 387 views | Hoopstar | I have given a few times now - due to give next week. I live in a town of about 45000 people though and still have to drive two towns over. They could make it a lot easier to give outside of major cities I find. I do like the feature where you get a text when it's been used saying where - my bloods been all over the country.

They make you leave and go to the game though so it isn’t all a bed of roses.

My last donation was at Portman Road so I guess it wasn’t the first bit of QPR blood seen at Ipswich town.

Right next to a college and busy Tube station too as you know. Would be like shooting fish in a barrel for them. Just tried to log on it it says it's too busy and I'll be in a queue for 3 minutes. A good sign maybe (because it's busy) but I only want to access the book an appointment page. Feels like an unnecessary obstruction which lazy and impatient people like me find off putting.
