Their fans also claiming BBM’s comments are making us “lose our minds”. Hilarious. Apart from the fact that they have a bigger stadium, I just don’t get where this “bigger club” notion comes from, because they’ve done practically nothing to suggest that they are, especially in the last 25 years or so. They beat us, & they’re the biggest club in Wales. Lose to us, & it’s “swans fans care more about the derby than us”, “Bristol City is our derby” etc etc.
Who do they think they are? Ipswich?
They really are a special breed up there in the rarified air of Division 3.

They definite are a strange breed. The sad thing is they seem to genuinely believe in what they are saying.

They are in the main all saying that they are favourites for promotion, best squad in the league etc. They never seem to learn to manage their expectations. It clearly is a trait of people from that area where they just seem to be overconfident in everything. And full of hubris and we know what happens.

And the IQ jibe, though clearly a joke (clearly!!) the intelligence displayed on this and Phil’s site (in the main😏) demonstrates that they are full of and thick as sh1t in comparison!😂😂😂

Nothing sad about them thinking they're somehow special ,I think its hilarious , Its amazing that a small club can attract so many self absorbed individuals who think the world looks up to them in awe. They truly are a gift for the rest of the footballing world ,if success is measured on failure then yes they are the most successful Club in Wales winning it hands down but in the real world its not.

OMG - that’s a special sort of mental deficiency right there. We’re losing our mind they got a manager we wouldn’t entertain in the past? One who took Rochdale out of the league?
Actually I’m quite happy about it

1) Swansea City
Winners of the League Cup in 2013, Swansea City are the biggest football club in Wales at the time of writing.

Despite their success and recent stint in the Premier League, Swansea are not the best-supported team in Wales (that honour goes to Liverpool).

Swansea’s attendance is a few thousand behind Cardiff’s average in the last couple of seasons, but the Swans have been by far the stronger club in the 21st century.

They featured in Premier League predictions for seven straight seasons, including a Europa League appearance and two trips to the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.

In that time, they wrote their own chapter in the Premier League history books through Michu’s phenomenal debut season, Brendan Rodgers’ successful spell, and the appointment of footballing royalty in Michael Laudrup.

Even since their relegation, Swansea have had the upper hand over Cardiff with a pair of top six finishes in the Championship.

Our managers over the last 18 years -

Martinez - only went on to be a premier league manager and managed world number 1 Belgium and now Portugal who are quite decent.

Sousa - Portuguese and Serie A legend who also went on to higher profile jobs

Brendan Rogers - Liverpool and Celtic - ‘nuff said

Michael Laudrup - European football legend lauded and lived at both Real Madrid and Barcelona . Multiple trophy winner one of the most decorated footballers ever.

Cardiff

Neil Warnock and Malky Mackay (mustn’t forget Mick McCarthy)

Who’s the bigger club??

I see he is already following through on developing the youth. FOR OTHERS

Kieron Evans has joined National League side Eastleigh following his release by Cardiff City.

Eastleigh say they "fought off competition from EFL clubs" to land former Wales youth international Evans, who made 11 senior appearances for Cardiff after coming through the club's academy.

The new SOUTH Wales derby

Come on Huw. Give em a good stiffing

Cardiff City and Newport County will face each other in next season's EFL Trophy.

What's an EFL Trophy by the way.

It is one whern some lower premier league teams play their u21 squads to get some senior experience. Even the top teams at u21 usually come up short against EFL bruisers.

I think Peterborough won it last season in front of a big Wembley crowd.

Cardiff's new boss needs media training as he speaks too fast and mumbles. I am sure he will work on it for Press Conferences.
