Giles Coren, Times food journalist, avid Rs fan and season ticket holder, did an article yesterday on Shepherds Bush and The Hawthorn pub on Uxbridge Road. Never been, booked it for lunch in a couple of weeks but he was raving about it.

The Princess Vic used to be renowned for its food and did really well, so much so that Anthony Bourdain visited for his Parts Unknown in London. Also had an incredible wine list. Gone down the spout since and the service is horrific. | | | |
