There seems to be a lot of positivity around the football club at the moment.

So much so, after a 2-year sabbatical, I have renewed my ST.

Not sure how sales are going, but there seemed to be limited seats available in the East.

I'm glad you have renewed mate, everyone I know is far more confident this season. The East is the stand to be and many renew and those who don't their seats are quickly gone. The problem is the South Stand, sales are slow there again, this is the Stand the club need to target.

My original St was in the upper tier, middle block almost exactly on halfway and about 10 rows from the back. I had to move when my son started coming but next season I'm back...same block but 3 rows further back and right on halfway, both of us.

My son wanted to go in the standing section and I would have if not for a fortuitous offer.

You're right, the positivity is abundant right now. helped on a bit, I suspect, by a certain relegation! As a result we are keen not just on home games but have set our sights on at lwast 10 away games.

Ipswich away first game anyone?

We are going up.

First game is a tough one obviously.

Sorry i meant with new players, expectations high, momentum from last year etc

Dont get too high if we win, or too low if we lose.

Poor wording sorry.

That's when we fond out how good Sheehan is, if we have most of the players in early (and we already do, 5 in with maybe 3 more to come) then the team bonding and building starts at the first training session, the more time they have together the quicker they gel.

We saw last season how quickly Sheehan turned us around so I feel quite confident he can build the team up in pre-season to be good enough for the first game.

Maybe other teams will be looking at us and hoping we aren't their first game.

I live in hope

Renewed using the early bird pay in Installments , I'm a section just shy of the standing section and did ponder whether to move over but I'm with a good set of lads so resisted the temptation.I really enjoyed the tail end of last season and hopefully AS can carry on where he left off, if so we could very well be the team to beat.

From what I've seen Swansea and Wrexham are positive about next season and to a lesser degree even Cardiff are positive about next season.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

I can't remember when I felt so good about the coming season. And it'll get even better as the rest of the signings happen

I can remember feeling positive the season that Cusack was given the reins. There were loads of new signings in the close season that got many more than a bit intrigued on what was happening. We all know what happened next. Think I’ll reserve judgement until about 10 games in to the season.

A totally different feeling getting so many deals done early. Still need the marquee signings though - O’Brien & a striker still required.

There absolutely should be positivity right now.

Even if the new lads don’t work out or take time to settle, it’s clear we are taking positive, proactive steps. Not only squad wise, but in terms of growing our brand and increasing revenue.

We’ve been used to stand offish owners who treated the club as a failed part of their portfolio. Now we’ve got people who want the club to to succeed to help them make money and are prepared to do something about it. Breath of fresh air so far.

I believe that as well. But, Kaplan and Levien did put a few million in last summer even though they were negotiating their way out. They didn’t hold the interest agreed, and they wanted rid for sure.

Kively story on the WoL even if it is for the bitter comments from cardiff fans

walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea-citys-powerful-pull-european-31891297#comments-wrapper

And if there was any doubt about the WoL's bias, the nasty pasty cardiff fans comments are left up by seemingly, Swansea replies get removed. Though I loved the one about ST sales, big stadium, capital city getting them relegated.

There was never any shortage of funding from K&L. They put more money into the club over their time than Jenkins and co ever did, even when it would have made more sense for them not to. What was missing was competence and dedication.

Now, it remains to be seen whether we've upped the competence levels. Signs are good, but it's early days. We've spent considerable money on players who won't have faced anything like as competitive as The Championship in their careers, and it will take time.

What is the most encouraging thing from me is that it feels like we're all on the same side again. Fans, club, management, players. The fact that it's encouraging lapsed ST holders to make that investment again speaks for that.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
