I see they are selling another player for 40 mill to Liverpool today. I guess it's good business if they can replace but they are finding out what happens in the PL when you are moderately successful..

They’ll be fine.

They have a clued-up recruitment team and still have their very good manager.

Top-half finish again for them.

They have already signed Adrien Truffert from Rennes as a replacement for Kerkez

Age 23, 1 full cap for France, 5 year contract, £11.4m fee + £3m in add-ons

we signed a french left back,ok but nothing special, they are selling top quality players and they wont be easily replaced, luckily for them the promoted sides always seem to struggle. They are losing their keeper and most of their back four plus they will lose forward players,i think they will have a tough season.

Brentford starting to be picked apart too and they’ve lost their manager. At the end of the day the best players and managers want to win the big trophies on a regular basis not just one offs. The top 6/7 teams in this country win trophies on a regular basis despite some people who try to convince you otherwise.

This isn’t going to change anytime soon. I can see Palace also being set upon before the season starts .

When you look at the (lack of) calibre that the 3 promoted clubs are being linked with, they must all be nailed-on to go straight back down.

I can see Sun’lan finishing on less points than us.

Im amazed Spurs wanted Frank as their manager.

Be interesting to see how both Bournemouth and Brentford go. Only takes a few duff signings that you get saddled with and it will soon pull you down.

And hopefully that is the avenue we can now start back down?
We seem to be setting up carefully on the sporting director/ recruitment team front & I believe we have a good manager.
Bournemouth & Brighton picked up where we left off on the recruit reasonably and sell big front. Their success at this also allows them to recruit big if required, something we failed to do when raking in the dough!

Spurs have a healthy tradition of appointing so called top knotch coaches rather than managers, it usually ends in failure
