In my time, Kevin Sheedy. Prior to that, Grenville Morris, Nottingham Forests all time leading goal scorer.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

In my head me… I grew up in the Gwendraeth valley which was all about the rugby, best one in my school year was Jonathan Davies. He was just different gravy from the get go.
I’ve been trying to tell anyone that would listen that it’s me that made him look good but no one’s bought it yet 😂

As a youngster Jonathan Clark from Brynhyfryd was a phenomenal talent. I remember seeing Tommy Docherty going into the headmaster's office at Dynevor school to discuss signing him for Manchester United.
Sadly Jonathan never reached his full potential although Docherty did go on to sign him on 2 further occasions for Derby and Preston. A lovely lad Clarky.

Johnny Coates was better
Coates is one of the examples I use when people forget just how good you have to be at football to earn any kind of living from the game. Even a lower league pro like him is better than 98% of people who have kicked a ball. He looked like Messi when he played five a side against some mates of mine, and a couple of those were no slouches.
There have been a few players over the years produced by the club who are loaded with talent but for whatever reasons never really kick on. I can remember Shaun Chapple being absolutely raved about in some quarters, but he preferred going for a pint in the Eastside instead of going that extra mile.

Andrew Mumford was another example of a player with the ability but not the application to go with it

Was just thinking of Jonathan Clark, 2yrs and a few months older than me though, I was in Dynevor when he was there.
