Time to shift out Armstrong . 22:39 - Jun 24 with 1749 views | felly1 | Alfie House reporting that Saints are looking to get him a move . Difficult call . Pros. Lots of goals and assists in 23/24 and a ton of experience at this level. Cons. Failed at West Brom , he knows we wouldn't keep him if we do get promoted as he's failed 3 times in the Prem. Maybe it's time to cash in and get 10m from Rangers ...possibly?? Possibly Spors and Still see his lack of height and physical presence as a hindrance to the style of football they want to implement.

Ross Stewart showed against Arsenal he has physical presence, but I think that we should keep Armstrong, Archer & Stewart & sell Brereton Diaz, that would perhaps leave us room for a big centre forward

Yes agree with this, we need something different keep Archer ,Armstrong and Stewart and sign Damion Downs, a big striker in the Bundesliga who has a decent record. Apparently we’ve agreed personal terms with him but not the transfer fee. Get It done Saints.

I agree with you on Ross Stewart but his fitness is a risk, so we really need him plus 2 proper centre forwards, now we don't have Tall Paul. I think we'll be lucky to get one new decent one. They cost a lot of money.

Spot on Nick. Why sell a proven goal scorer with massive Championship experience ? Forget about the Arsenal game because effectively it was an end of season friendly. Ross Stewart will be staying purely because nobody else will be daft enough to buy him given his injury record and because his contract expires in a years time.
