Glastonbury 20:41 - Jun 27 with 6000 views | max936 | Anyone watching? I put it on when I got home from the daily slog enjoyed Lewis Capaldi he was excellent, Alanis Morissette was decent as well. Used to think about going, but wading through those crowds to see different acts on the different Stages would pee me off immensily,

Glastonbury on 16:51 - Jul 5 by ReslovenSwan1 | Commentary piece. Summer festivals will always be a place for protesters. The Green man will presumably be far worse ( or better depending your point of view) It should probably not be supported but there you go. Free speech allows for protests and strong words on any particular issue and neither the BBC nor Senedd necessarily agree with the content. Young humans should have a space to vent their opinions. Vylan is ideal for Green Man I would think. It was never likely to broadcast by the BBC. Channel four maybe as the F*** Buttons was one act.. Perhaps these concerts should be suspended until the Israeli army have finished their civilian killing work and the young angry folk would then have no platform. It is such a shame that these "genocide things" go on spoiling our lovely British summer events. It's good they keep the riff raff out of Wimbledon. No strawberry and cream for the BBC team this year. [Post edited 5 Jul 16:53]

With 110 wars around the World we could go on a demo every day all summer.

How many other conflicts are we accused of aiding and abetting in ?, a few more I would have thought.

That's not true, UK activists have been protesting the UK’s arms sales to Saudi Arabia for years.

They need to do better, there are 22 countries on the human rights watch list that receive arms from the UK either directly or indirectly. Never mind Starmer says arms jobs are well paid, skilled British jobs designed to kill people ( I made the last bit up ).

They are trying their best, but if they are to be believed its an uphill battle.

Starmer says the British Army will be 10 times more lethal, I think that means we can kill 10 times more people or kill the same number of people 10 times more quickly rather than kill the same people ten times. Antway we are going to be much better at killing people and that means well paid and highly skilled British jobs that people can be proud of. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/starmer-strategic-defence-review-

Perhaps we should spend more money on spies, as there seems to be a lot of people in Government and high positions outside Government that seem to favour foreign powers like Israel, Saudi, USA, I would not trust these people to put British interests first.

We need people of backbone who will not accept our allies to be carrying out genocide. I relate it to myself. If my brother did something unconsciable I would report him the the law and not expect favours. Netinyahu is a war criminal and needs to be dealt with not patronised. Add Shaba and Shatila 1982 to the list of horrors. I cannot compare these actions with historical precedent as it is possibly illegal. That is another farce that needs locking at .

Self interest wins, there are millions in concentration camps in China, which countries are refusing to do business with them? The people of this country and all around the World are quite happy to buy cheap Chinese goods without a thought of the appalling human rights record that China has.
