Glastonbury 20:41 - Jun 27 with 7970 views | max936 | Anyone watching? I put it on when I got home from the daily slog enjoyed Lewis Capaldi he was excellent, Alanis Morissette was decent as well. Used to think about going, but wading through those crowds to see different acts on the different Stages would pee me off immensily,

Glastonbury on 22:09 - Jun 29 by Whiterockin | Highlight of the weekend. They really need to look at their schedules. Other stages and artists down the bill were far better than the so called main artists. |
Switched off at 9 pm last night...first time ive left a game early!

Saw Stevie Wonder at the Vetch all those years ago (1983 ?) - my main memory was how he played hit after hit after hit in his set. Bit like Rod Stewart at Glastonbury, you just forget how many hits these guys have had. Like so many others, still wondering how an 80 year old outshone all the headliners.

Had they said death to the Russian military invaders they would face no consequences and got a similar response from the crowd.

These exceptional times and deeply uncomfortable for good average UK family people. Such notionally unacceptable behaviour by British people is symptomatic of a deeply unjust conflict UK has been dragged into buy unreasonable people in the middle east who are unable to compromise and coexist. I went to Bosnia in February and that is a patchwork of three state lets of people who could not live together (after being agitated) until they did and now do.

We cannot change what happened nearly 80 years ago but people can change their behaviour today. If the "nakba" is a reason to allow hate speech, to call for people to die and then just put up with Hamas and Israel killing each other then the whole world, given all the things that have happened, may as well just start murdering each other now until we are all gone. Or we could be grown ups, talk about it and end the violence? You say you don't support Hamas but this another post that seems to be justifying hate speech towards Israeli's.

Glastonbury on 17:51 - Jul 4 with 579 views | Boundy | I see the Greenman festival is next month and one of the "artistes" appearing are Kneecap, a question was asked by Darren Miller to Eluned in the Senendd whether as we the taxpayer contribute a significant amount of money towards the costs of this festival and the fact that the parents Pete & Jill Brisley of Bridgend whose daughter and granddaughter were both murdered on the 7th of October by Hamas terrorists that Kneecap asked also that they should be uninvited to appear ,her response was it was up to the festival organisers who they invited. Pretty poor imo considering the recent public response to kneecaps their recent antics.

FWIW I really really dislike Kneecap and everything they stand for, but I don’t agree with banning them and I think Miller is wrong. Let them play, people will soon get sick of them.

Yeah, let them play BUT don't use any public money to support these festivals if these bands are there. I agree with freedom of speech but it doesm't mean I want tax payers money to support them.

Glastonbury on 16:51 - Jul 5 with 317 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Commentary piece. Summer festivals will always be a place for protesters. The Green man will presumably be far worse ( or better depending your point of view) It should probably not be supported but there you go. Free speech allows for protests and strong words on any particular issue and neither the BBC nor Senedd necessarily agree with the content. Young humans should have a space to vent their opinions. Vylan is ideal for Green Man I would think. It was never likely to broadcast by the BBC. Channel four maybe as the F*** Buttons was one act.. Perhaps these concerts should be suspended until the Israeli army have finished their civilian killing work and the young angry folk would then have no platform. It is such a shame that these "genocide things" go on spoiling our lovely British summer events. It's good they keep the riff raff out of Wimbledon. No strawberry and cream for the BBC team this year. [Post edited 5 Jul 16:53]
