Reform do not support abolishing the Senedd.

https://youtube.com/shorts/Ch-WgPZJQtY?si=Vcko_jked4RzGj2h

I was not aware of this and it has come to my attention. Reform have a value simply in rattling the cage of the other parties.

I consider those wanting to abolish the Senedd as highly unwelcome in Wales. Many on Facebook i have confronted on this matter turned out to be English.

Just because someone has a different view to you you consider them to be unwelcome in their own country, it's the kind of intolerant thinking that leads to hatred and division.
I'm Welsh and have friends who support the Senedd and some who who like to see it go, we are still friends and nobody is looking to run anyone out of town.
It's okay to have different opinions and views, when we think that tolerant people with different views should be treated differently it is a very slippery slope. When people are intolerant and want to do others damage then it's time to be intolerant with the intolerant.

That’s a really good post but sadly wasted on someone who is totally irrelevant.

Everyone can have a view. I do not welcome outsiders to Wales telling us how to run our own business.

If an Englishman or Scot stated thier intention was to change the way Wales was governed I would not welcome it and advise them " to mind their own business" in a non aggressive way.

It has taken 600 year to get the Senedd.

I was concerned about Reform s policy on this and Abolishing it will not be in their manifesto..

I was not irrelevant to the 43 that voted me POTY 2024. I was not allowed to stand in 2024 and no standout candidate came forth.

I do not go after individual posters. Whiterockin, Max, StID the various flag wavers, SC are a bit of a blur and do not like me much.

Hey ho.

Well let’s hope that Reform listen to their voters along the way then.

And this POTY award which you believe indicates your popularity. Surely you are joking, this is your attempt at humour. Yes?

I just brought the attention of the forum that NO UK PARTY supports abolishing the Senedd. I can understand you are upset about this based on your earlier posts.

Anybody who loves, works and pays taxes in Wales is entitled to their opinion.

Anybody who says different is an idiot.

The POTY thing, utterly hilarious, nobody else takes it seriously Maybe you think Welsh people in England aren't entitled to an opinion about where they live, work and pay taxes too?
Admittedly you don't go after individual posters, no, instead you insult people by the thousands.

Me neither. Nor do I get tearful of the anthem. What I d o respect is my ancestors..Remember Shrewsbury fell the Norman brutes in 1068. They could not take Wales with the Anglo Saxons until 1500s. Tough rough men. Today Putin talks about the Anglo Saxon threat.

Remember that when you go on Wales trips and sing " WC know what we are".

You are probably a decent bloke but need to go through a process of thinking differently.

The Senedd is hereto stay. It is here due to blood spilt over the last 1000 years. Let's make it work .

If you're going to resort to history lessons do try to get them right, to avoid looking silly.

The Anglo-Saxin period starteed around 410AD and ended with the 1066 invasion. The Normans weren't so interested in aquick conquest of Wales and established the Marcher lordships as a biffer zone and launchpad for a gradual takeover.
Wales was finally subdued in the late 13th century by Edward Longshanks. A fair bit before the 1500's.

The internet is your friend, try finding the correct information.

I have never sung WC know what we are. I don't sing the sheep song either.

Yes and Russia were not interested in taking over Ukraine and withdrew as a good will gesture. The Anglo Saxons / Normans could not conquer Wales. They had a buffer zone and build a ditch because of cost benefit considerations.

It would have cost them too much because the lights cals were real tough. A merger of England and Wales where Wales came under the now England crown was formally in the 1500s. There was a civil War in England in 1460s.

Those heroic fighter is why the Senedd exists. Pathetic Welshmen exist today want it abolished because they are forced to recycle their wastes as everyone should do and Wales have shown support and education to the poorest of the poor in Uganda.

I call out the ethnic slurs directed at Welsh fans and sung by Welsh fans. No one agrees with me. I know my views and comfortable with that. I am proud to be Welsh and British. I am not Anti British at all. I do not understand why Welsh men put up the Union flag and denigrate Wales as a matter of course.

Plaid Cymru is too woke and left for me. Morgan wants to paid people who can work to stay at home with the electric fire on when is is warm outside. This is a recipe for low productivity worker shortages.

AI
Wales was incorporated into the Kingdom of England through a series of Acts of Union, most notably the Laws in Wales Acts 1535 and 1542. These acts fully incorporated Wales into the English legal and administrative system, effectively ending the Principality of Wales as a separate entity.
