Police State ? 17:43 - Jun 29 with 1364 views | trampie | Only recently hearing about this because the mainstream media apparently havent been reporting it that for the last year or so Independent investigative journalists are being raided by the authorities who look like they are trying to pin terror related charges on them, very worrying for our democracy and freedom of speech if true. Mainstream journalists are an extension of the state and in the main report what the state is happy for them to report but independent investigative journalists that might research things the powers that be don't like seem to be getting targeted, echos of 1930s Germany. One person's was arrested for encouraging arson at immigrant hotels that would probably led to mass fatalities of Foreign nationals and British people. She was the unlucky one made an example of. The agitators can cause a lot of problems for everyone.

The culture is now allowing crime and prosecution at a later date rather then employing big tough security people.

Police State ? on 07:48 - Jul 3 with 596 views | trampie | We have had an English born and bred schoolgirl made stateless, we have had what has been described as stormtroopers raid a Quaker house and manhandle and lock up young women, now there is talk of this group of protesters being declared a terrorist organisation, not commenting on the rights and wrongs of any individual case or my thoughts on the individual cases but is the direction of travel towards a German 1930s police state ?

Is it the 4 you refer to regarding PFA ? if so read the charge sheet then comment regarding whether we're heading towards a police state., 80 years ago they'd have been hanged.

I forgot to mention all these independent investigative journalists that are getting raided, it's worrying times for freedom of speech and democracy in this country, I've seen it before when a certain group was discriminated against by the authorities in the North of Ireland so its not unprecedented but its a concern, perhaps some would say its warranted because of the current World situation.

Police State ? on 13:23 - Jul 6 with 289 views | ReslovenSwan1 | The demonstrators themselves gave consciously upped the ante by causing serious inconvenience to the general public by closing roads and vandalising expensive milliary hardware. It is a fine balance. I follows the Flan y Ffos mine controversy. Extinction rebellion were the only organisation fighting yo stop illegal mining in Merthyr. It looked to me as if the legal coal supplies to Tata had run out before the furnaces were finally shut. Mining continued without planning permission after the mine must have been given the "nod". Neither the council Senedd nor the mining authorities acted to stop them. Only extinction Rebellion. The South Wales Constabulary yoh would thing would stop illegal mining operations but they arrested Extinction rebellion people, gave them a coffee and some biscuits and sent the back to Surrey. The steelworks got a few months a extra work. All very strange. [Post edited 6 Jul 13:58]

The group that had less housing opportunities, fewer job opportunities and gerrymandering of electoral boundaries against them.

Oh no, I was wondering why you was asking as I thought it was obvious, the group I was referring to that was discriminated against out there at one time was the Catholics.

Police State ? on 17:50 - Jul 6 with 124 views | KeithHaynes | This govt is deciding what happens, the police are the services that implement their desire. It’s always been that way. The home office once prescribed Spiral Tribe and Bedlam (Castlemorton illegal raves 1989 to 1993 as a big a danger to the UK as the IRA. Down to the illegal activity that went on within, before and after the raves. Suits will always decide the fate, the people can change it but looking around the UK atm, the only people on the streets are crazy alcoholics in groups outside some closed down dept store huddled up drinking whatever it is with dodgy fentanyl substitute (the original is also dodgy 😂) There is no desire to change as the poll tax riots proved, that was an historical event eventually replaced by another name in govt tax. A long term friend who was extremely left wing in the 80’s antifa ( not the bellends knocking about today) said to me recently. Why should we take to the streets and fight for change when it’s all going to go to the Muslims. People are giving up. And as I’ve always said, there is no left or right these days, it’s just a balance of the big two political parties and extremists on either side of it who employ the same tactics. They may as well be old extreme left or extreme right. There’s no difference between any of them. Pointless being bothered about it really, control and care for what you can for the people you take care of and are close to you. Sad ethic to some but these days why not ? I see nobody of any strength to change anything.

The last paragraph is exactly my priority. Some things you can change some you can't, I've no real interest in what I can't change. Family is everything.
