I know many will be glad to see the back of both Tall Paul & Sulemane but the reality of it is that we have sold our two best forwards.
We know that neither have had a great time since they've been with us but they were our biggest & on occasions our only threat going forward.
I just hope SR know what they are doing & spend the incoming transfer fees wisely.
No more players with a history of injuries hopefully get some that know where the goal is.

Agree, they probably were our best 2 strikers, but that said more about the depth of talent up front, rather than their performances.

Not fussed that both are leaving.
Sulemana had blistering pace... but f*ck-all end product.
Tall Paul had a terrible first touch & scored 4 times in 40 games.
Wave goodbye to both  and thank them for their service, but f*ck me, there's gotta be better goal scorers out there for the club, surely?!?! |  |

But I've got no faith in SR getting them.

You have to ask questions of our coaching skills.
Tall Paul was raw and was given very little chance to improve under struggling managers,
Sulemane had the pace but no end product.
Both these players never reached Premiership standard but were they coached to do so?
Dibling is a raw talent but I don't notice him improving. |  | | |

Sport Republic's transfer policy has largely been driven by the desire to make a profit, not that they have been particularly succesful in doing so. Onuachu is 31 so this was the last year they could get a half decent fee for him. He'll probably be replaced by a youngster, who'll be bought because of his 'transfer potential' rather than as part of any team-building strategy. [Post edited 2 Jul 23:14]

Let's face it both were poor and didn't improve.
I think our best striker might be Ross Stewart, I think he'll score goals in the championship.
